Story Ideas for Final Project

1.       1. Heart Disease-

 This video would be extremely emotional to make. A girl in my sorority lost both her mother and sister from heart disease due to a rare defect in her family genes. She also has this defect and recently was saved by a AED at the gym after passing out on the treadmill. She is currently working with Durham PD to raise money to get a AED put into our house.

This story is journalistically significant because heart disease is the number one killer of woman, and this video could help raise awareness.  

Also, this story needs to be told in a visual manner cause it is very emotional and visual interviews with the family would be very successful.

2. Triplets-

I babysit for three amazing triplets. The video would focus on life as a triplet and all of the trials and tribulations that they have to go through. They just turned 13 and are very vivacious and exciting and would work well to be interviewed.
